Earth Day 2015 was celebrated at the Wiscasset Public Library Children’s Room by getting outside to do some clean up and planting.  Many eager hands helped rake leaves and pick up debris from our rough winter and load it up into a wheelbarrel. After some clean up, we all planted bulbs and seeds in designated areas around the library grounds to promote new growth and a colorful setting to read outdoors.  All of the enthusiastic children that helped with our Earth Day project are looking forward to returning to monitor our planting success. Thank you for helping on this special day!

Story hour will return on Thursday, April 30 and all good listeners are welcome to enjoy a few books and a related activity to follow. The Wiscasset Public Library is located at 21 High Street, Wiscasset.
