Joe Orchulli II, a.k.a. Joey O, will be performing his original music, as part of the Crossroads Tour 2009 at Thomas Point Beach State Park on Saturday, September 19 and on Sunday, September 20, at noon.

Cross Roads Tour Entertainment was founded by Kenny Churchill on May 1, 2009. Ken’s concept was to create a World Cup of bands from different countries with Christian Rock. Each event will have a festival atmosphere with a rodeo twist from the World Cup Bull Riders events.

The festival will have fun band competitions along with well known artists. The venues will also be surrounded by other attractions such as mechanical bulls, rock climbing walls, bungee jumps, barbeques, vendors and sponsors.

The event will run from Saturday morning, 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday, September 20, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Joey O’s new band, Amnesia To Screaming, featuring Caitlyn Lee Barter on drums, is also slated to perform at The Big Easy in Portland, Sunday, September 27 at 4 p.m. as part of Gorilla Productions Battle of the Bands sponsored by Sam Ash Music, OUT+BURN, Pabst Blue Ribbon and more.

"The idea for the band name, Amnesia to Screaming, means to learn to trust God so much that one forgets to worry," Orchulli said,

"Melodic, Subtle, Uplifting, Gentle, are all words that best describe Joey O and Amnesia to Screaming.  I am thrilled that such a talented group has decided to be a part of the Battle of the Bands. Joey's lyricism and vocal approach will probably make women cry in the audience. You don't want to miss these two very talented people perform," said Michael Patrick, Booking Agent for Gorilla Productions.

"Joey O is still the Prince of Contemporary Christian Rock here in the Lehigh Valley. He needs to make a triumphant return!" said Young Adult Director of Bethany Church of Wescosville, Jason Thompson.

Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 the day of the show and they are available at House of Pizza in Boothbay Harbor, Happy’s Pizza in Wiscasset,  or online at www.myspace.com/joeyomusic.
