Seahawks golf team begins season

The 2009 field hockey season is underway at Boothbay Region High School. Second-year head coach Laurie Dickinson is being assisted this year by Lisa McSwain.

Middle school football team

sprints to first win

The Boothbay Region Middle School football team got its first win in their non-league opener against the Lincoln County Eagles 24-6 at Sherman Field Thursday night. The Wildcats stopped the Eagles on the opening series and then led a balanced attack on their first offensive series of the season, scoring on a Jason Maddocks sweep around the right end. Andrew Hallinan then completed his first pass attempt of the season, hooking up with Maddocks for the two point conversion.
