BRES girls take third, boys fifth at Busline League championship The Boothbay Region Elementary School girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams finished third and fifth, respectively, at the Busline League cross-country championships held October 15 at Medomak Middle School (MMS) in Waldoboro.

BRHS XC team is MVC champs again By SUE MELLO Staff Reporter
Last year, when the Seahawks cross-country team won the Mountain
Valley Conference championship for the first time ever, Boothbay
Region High School runners, coach, and fans were ecstatic. This
year, on Saturday at Augusta, the Seahawks were the favorites
and although there was clearly joy in the Boothbay camp after

Lady Seahawks win final game against Monmouth, lose to Wiscasset By LISA KRISTOFF Staff Reporter
The Lady Seahawks soccer team won their final game of the 2009
season against Monmouth’s Lady Mustangs, 4-0, on Monday, October
19.
Scoring one goal for Boothbay were midfielder Ashley Timm and
