Y Arts 2024 Spring Recital

Tap, tap, tap ... “Do Re Mi” ... “Great Balls of Fire!”
The Boothbay Region YMCA gym was alive with songs and dances Tuesday, April 9 as the Y Arts’ 2024 Spring Recital, performed by the approximately 40 students of instructor and choreographer Emily Mirabile, entertained dozens of families and friends of the dancers. Dancer Imij Armstead and some of Mirabile’s older students also choreographed some of the dances.
The various groups participating included Itty Bitty Tap, Beginner Tap, Music Theater Dance, Kiddie Choir, Intermediate Ballet, Itty Bitty Ballet, Y Arts Singers, Beginner Ballet and Intermediate Tap.
