The Southport Island Association presents the annual Island Clean Up on Sunday, April 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will meet at the Southport Central School at 11:30 a.m. where you’ll catch up with friends and neighbors and receive clean up instructions. There will be free hot dogs and chips for lunch before you head out to help beautify our neighborhoods. The Southport Central sixth graders will be hosting a bake sale to help fund their class trip to Boston, so you might want to have some cash on hand for a sweet treat! 

The island is split up into sections by roads. You and a team member or members will take one section. If you come alone don’t worry, we will connect you to a group! Trash bags are handed out and bringing your own gloves is encouraged. You will walk your route and pick up the trash along your area at your own pace. When you are done, you simply leave the full trash bag on the side of the road for one of our crew members to pick up at a later time!
