A fulfilling and fun night at the Opera House

Mon, 04/15/2024 - 4:30pm

    Dear Editor:

Saturday, April 6 was such an exciting and fulfilling day for us at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor. All 20 of us from Pan Fried Steel played “our hearts out” at Caribbean Night to a very appreciative and participating (two conga lines!) audience. Thank you, Cathy Sherrill, for inviting us back and for all you do behind the scenes.

Thank you, Kevin Kiley, for the very beautiful and totally transformed tropical environment, including Caribbean decorations, lighting and sound that you excel at.

Thank you, Eric Lowe, for your publicity and ticket sale. And thank you, Friends of the Opera House and Finch, the resident mascot, for the welcoming atmosphere.

Having just come through a nasty storm, power loses, and cold days, the night took us away to warmer, gentler times. Thanks a million for all who joined us! This is always our favorite gig of the season.

    Pat McKee
